Emerge with Amy LePage & Blossom Wellness Center are teaming up to offer this nurturing support for families during pregnancy, preparing for birth and beyond with classes and Prenatal/Postnatal Bodywork and Prenatal Massage.
Register for classes in advance, please, and book bodywork and massages sessions in advance.
A portion of the proceeds from this weekend will go to local groups that support families.

Blossom Wellness Center has their Prenatal Massage therapists offering massages on March 22nd and 24th.

Held: An Intro To Matrescence

New parenthood is challenging as it is, and society’s expectations when it comes to mothers’ bodies, careers, and relationships magnify that challenge. Through a blend of gentle movement, reflective writing, and conversation, we will learn about the concept of matrescence and how it can help illuminate this period of radical transformation and help answer that colossal question: Who am I now?

Infant Massage

Infant massage, newborns to crawlers, is an excellent way to aid in caregiver/infant bonding. The simple, easy to learn strokes offer babies relief from the sometimes hard to understand discomforts of their rapidly growing bodies and encourages their bodily awareness through touch. Multiple caregivers encouraged to attend!

Mexican Traditional Postpartum Care for Partners

Rooted in indigenous Mexican traditional medicine, we will cover herbal remedies and practices like the Bajo or vaginal steam, teas and nutrition, how to re-align crooked and open hips, herbal massage, and partner stretching to care for their recovering bodies. Understand Your Pelvic Floor

A quick peek into how important the pelvic floor muscles are in birth and ways to prepare this part of your body during pregnancy and for pushing. A great class to take even if you have a cesarean birth planned. It’s followed by a postpartum class! which is great to take while pregnant too so you have an understanding for simple ways to begin your healing process postpartum.

Restore Your Core After Birth

8 week - 5+years postpartum folks welcome. Re-awakening, or discover for the first time, deep core strength and stability to help you meet the demands of parenting little ones while feeling more comfortable and confident in yourself. We take a Less is More, holistic approach that helps you understand your body better as you do things you need to do and build toward doing the things you want and love to do. Please do come to this class on your own.

Somatic Bodywork & Reiki

15 minute movement practice followed by each person receiving 15 minutes of somatic bodywork and 15 minutes of Reiki for a total or 30 minutes of hands-on body and energy care.
When you are not receiving from Amy or Jesse, explore movement & restorative postures, stretch, relax, meditate, rest, write on your own in this quiet, calm, space.
Closing movement practice offered if there is time at the end.

You and your baby are two nervous systems interacting together. They are learning how to self-regulate through their interactions with you. As parents & caregivers, having strategies for helping ourselves calm and settle are just as important as learning ways to recognize the cues your little one is sending you as they are establishing their foundation for nervous system regulation.
