I love to learn, and as it turns out, I love to teach…

… in the past, sharing my love of photography with high school students in California. Then, hands in clay, teaching ceramics in Vermont. Birthing and raising two sons - now that’s a whole lot of learning and teaching (and growing, not knowing, letting go, expanding…)

During the past 12 years, I’ve created a practice that teaches about the innate wisdom we have as humans to impact our experience of living in our bodies and how this inner experience influences our lives outside of us.

Emerge weaves together functional movement (therapeutic yoga), somatic movement (neuromuscular retraining), pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum education to offer an approach to wellness that places education at the center of one’s health and wellbeing.

My somatic group classes, workshops and private client sessions are all about experiential learning – providing students and clients the foundational framework to help themselves move toward a softer, more easeful experience of living in their bodies.

My work with individuals and families during pregnancy, birth and beyond is infused with a unique, holistic and highly individualized focus, supporting people to be seen, heard and empowered during this transitional time.

A deep thank you to my teachers and mentors who have shared so much along the way. To my friends, family and friends who are family - you have nurtured my life’s work in so many ways. For that I am grateful beyond words.
